Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) organized a roadshow - Defence Expo 2020

In tune with the Defence Expo 2020, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) organized a roadshow on 18 December 2019 at MDL.

The aim of the meet was to inform and sensitise various vendors, about the advantages of DEFEXPO 2020. RAdm A K Saxena, Director (Shipbuilding), MDL said, "The DEFEXPO2020 will provide golden opportunity to vendors to enhance their knowledge of defence industry's requirements. In addition to that, it will also open more avenues for them to amplify their scale of production to contribute more in Make-In-India."

The event registered the presence of Mr Santosh Kumar Kamble, President, Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), Mr Praveen Kumar, Rep of National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), Ms Bhagyashree Sathe and Ms Vandana both from MSME Development Institute. Commodore T V Thomas, Officiating Chairman and Managing Director and Commander Jasbir Singh, Director (Submarine and Heavy Engineering) also shared the dais.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for medium and small enterprises to understand the needs of qualifying standards with respect to country's shipbuilding programme.
